Summer is in fact gone,
and while it never lasts long enough in this country,
I do love this time of year more than most.
October, November, December.
These autumnal months are good.
After March, after six long months of cold, dark, wet and grey days
I will most certainly wish for the sun to come out once more.

I will long for those long days of lazy skies and cool breezes.

But for now,
just for now,
I'll enjoy the dark days.
